Our hand-picked interiors collections and products are developed and sourced through our network of approved manufacturers from the UK, Europe and further afield. We have usually been working with these suppliers on our hotel projects for many years. These products are complemented by a range of designer branded home wares and accessories from key quality suppliers. Occa-Home's purchasing power means that you can be sure products are coming direct from the manufacturer to bring you best value. Occa-Home's buying department check our prices daily to ensure that they are competitive and where possible, using our buying experience, we price match on other online retailers, taking into account things such as delivery costs and stock availbility too.

do you hold stock?

We work in close partnership with our approved suppliers to ensure that we hold stock of as many products as posssible in our current collections. Occasionally items will be more popular than expected and may sell out. In this instance we will do our best to replenish stock levels as soon as possible.

When an item is shown as in stock, we either have that item readily available in our warehouse, or a backorder is already in place and the goods are expected into our warehouse within seven days.

We are approved stockists and distributers of a variety of branded products from some of the finest design houses in the world and while we stock key items from these collections in our own warehouse, some items will come directly from them, at which point we will be quoting their lead times and relying on these.

Parts of our collection are seasonal and therefore towards the end of a season products may become unavailable or discontinued. We will contact you when you place an order if it cannot be fulfilled and offer you alternatives or refund you immediately.

Our collections include a variety of bespoke products such as [but not exclusively] headboards or sofas that are made to order specifically for you in your chosen materials or dimensions. Delivery of these items will generally be between 3-6 weeks unless otherwise noted. Textiles and wallcoverings are manufactured in dye batches and colour matching cannot always be guaranteed unless specifically ordered in one transaction or specified at time of ordering.

From time to time, textiles or materials that make up our bespoke products may be out of stock with our manufacturers and this may lead to a delay in the estimated delivery times. Should this be the case, it is our policy to communicate with you within 24 hours of this becoming an issue. At that time we will offer you a revised delivery date as well as the option to cancel your order. We understand this can be frustrating – we deal with such issues regularly on our hotel projects – however we want you to be assured that our team are trained to minimise and resolve any such problems promptly and effectively.

what am I agreeing to when I place an order?

By placing an order with www.occa-home.co.uk you are deemed to have read our Terms and Conditions of trading and understood these. If you have any problems understanding these please email one of our customer service agents at: customerservice@occa-home.co.uk before you place the order so that we can guide you.

The contract between you and www.occa-home.co.uk for the sale of our goods exists once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you. 

 


how do I place an order?

Our order processing system is completed in the following steps:

You select your products on our web site where you will be guided through a simple purchasing sequence.

  1. You place your order with Occa-Home, via the web site by clicking on the “confirm order” button, once you have checked and agreed your order at the checkout.
  2. Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed and processed. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  3. We will then send to you an order acknowledgement email confirming the products you have ordered - this is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Occa-Home at this stage, it is a reminder for you of what has been processed through our system. If there are any problems with this acknowledgement, please contacts us as soon as possible.
  4. Your order will then be processed in our warehouse within 24 hours and shipped from there for delivery to you within 3-7 working days [3-6weeks for larger items]. At that stage we will we will send you a dispatch confirmation email.
  5. Where our couriers have an order tracking facility we will provide that information to you.
  6. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of your order to your chosen address.
  7. Occasionally we may need to notify you that we cannot accept your order at which time we will credit any payments made in full. Reasons for non-acceptance of orders include [but are not limited to]:
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • The identification of a pricing or product description error.
  • You do not meet the criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions.

how do I pay for the goods?

You can purchase goods in confidence online from www.occa-home.co.uk.

We accept online payment in an encrypted, secure environment by credit card and Occa-Home Gift Vouchers. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Switch, American Express and Paypal. Prices can be shown in GBP, Euros and USD.

All prices quoted on our website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.The site can also display prices based on live currency conversion rates in Euros and US Dollars.

All transactions are made in GBP pounds sterling (£).

If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then your sales tax will be zero.

If your order is being sent to a member state of the EU then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate.

We have a great returns policy - we completely understand that circumstances can change and you may need to cancel your order. Additionally you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days and receive a refund in full, including any associated delivery charges.
