Set of 4 black and white egg cups which form a modern classic. This combination of Verner Panton’s design and Menu’s porcelain series created by Pernille Vea creates the perfect table setting. Verner Panton’s design is called Geometry 1 and is from 1960. It represents Panton’s first and most famous textile design, for which he received The International Design Award in the US in 1963.
Take an ingenious Menu egg cup and add Verner Panton’s design along with the right colours and style, and you’ve got the season's hottest egg cup. A thoroughly thought-out design in which dish and holder have several functions. The silicone lid can maintain heat, but when you remove the lid and flatten it out with your fingers it can be used as a little dish for the egg shells. The colours are dishwasher resistant. The high quality porcelain, which was fired at 1320 degrees C, ensures strength, durability and an easy-to-clean surface.
The glaze is acid-resistant as well as lead and cadmium-free and so its colour will not fade – not even in the dishwasher.
